PARA MEMBERSHIP RATES

Registration is done in conjunction with USSA registration; USSA registration fees are also applicable:

• Until Oct 15th $ 20 Competitor (U14 & Younger, U16 & Older)

• Until Oct 15th $ 15 Coach and/or Alpine Official​

• After Oct 15th: $ 15 Late fee on renewal

• New USSS/PARA Memberships must be completed before Jan 30th

REGISTRATION DIRECTIONS

 

1. ​Go to US SKI AND SNOWBOARD  and select the “Members” menu choice. 

2. Go to “Join/Renew your xxx membership today”

3. If you are new, a parent or guardian should “Create an Account”.  Think of this as the master account for managing any family members you may include.

4. Once your account is created, you can log in and create any new USSA members you require – ​“Register a new USSA member”

5. Go through entering the information for each member you are adding.

6. When you enter the information, you will be asked which STATE and CLUB you are a member of.  Answer = Pennsylvania: CLUB NAME.​

7. Independent Competitors MUST email membership@paracing.org before the race competitions start and identify which PARA Region the competitor will compete. 

8. ​Next, you will be asked for your Sport & Membership Type.  The Sport = Alpine

9. Membership options will be displayed based on the DoB you entered for that member. 

10. You should choose the Alpine Competitor for each individual who will actually be competing. 

11. Additionally, if you are a Parent/Guardian, you may wish to join USSS as a Club Volunteer or Official, and receive the same Member Benefits as your racer(s)​​​

Once you complete the USSS registration, you will receive a USSS number for each individual you have registered. This USSS number will be the identifier for as long as the individual is affiliated with USSS.

QUOTA TIMETABLE

Jan 31th: USSS cutoff

Feb 3 or 4: USSS Membership Report to PARA

Feb 5th: begin peer review by  Regional Chairs

Feb 8th: end peer review by  Regional Directors

Only PARA-registered racers qualify for Pennsylvania State team eligibility.
