Panel Slalom Start – 2 pm

The morning will consist of two Panel SL runs from the NASTAR start on the Exhibition run as a non- scored USSA SL. The combined time from the two runs will be used to seed athletes into brackets of 8 per age group and gender for the afternoon parallel competition. DNF/DSQ athletes will NOT qualify for the parallel SL. All entrants will have a SL race with PANELED GATES. Only the top 8 U10, U12, U14 will qualify to compete in the Parallel SL event.

In the afternoon, the top 8 athletes by age and gender category will compete head to head in Parallel Slalom runs from the NASTAR start in a single run elimination format based on the total differential time. The top seeded athlete will choose their course per USSA rules. Timing will only occur at the finish with the first racer starting the clock when they cross the line and the second racer stopping the clock. Timing will be to .000. If both athletes DNF/DSQ, the athlete progressing the furthest through the course will advance to the next round.

Team Captain’s Meeting: 7:45 am at the Competition Center (Exhibition Slope) Coaches please pick-up tickets at registration before the team captain’s meeting.

Registration: 7:00 to 8:00 am (Lower Level of Main Lodge)

Awards: 1 hour after completion of race (location TBD)
