Nominations Accepted - Sheibley Award

Frank Sheibley Memorial Award – The Frank Sheibley Memorial Award is presented to the J1 - J2 athlete, male or female, who exhibits and/or demonstrates the qualities of character and dedication to the sport of alpine ski racing in PARA, as determined by the PARA Executive Board. Nominations may be made by registered PARA members for candidates who exemplify the qualities possessed by those with a passion for ski racing. Nominees are evaluated based upon excellance in the following qualities: ambition, dedication, focus, attendance, effort, and responsibility. Athletic achievement is not a criteria, continuous improvement and a desire for broader race experiences is. Written nominations will be accepted for consideration by the PARA Executive Board. Nominations should be directed to John McGregor, president@paracing.org, by Febrauary 15th of each year. The award is presented on the final day of the PA Cup series each year during closing ceremonies at Elk Mt. Joe Sulpizio, BMRT, was awarded the 2009 Frank Sheibley Most Dedicated Athlete Award.
